Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations Ms Grace Fu to Attend COP30

Ms Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, will attend the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and its associated meetings, in Belem, Brazil from 17 to 21 November 2025.
Minister Fu will represent Singapore in the negotiation of a COP30 outcome. She will deliver Singapore’s National Statement at the COP30 Plenary. She will also participate in the events at the COP30 Singapore Pavilion, including the “Carbon Markets Day” and “Adaptation and Resilience Day” events, a high-level fireside chat on urban heat resilience with Brazil, and a fireside chat for “Unlocking Climate Finance for Sustainable Food Systems Transformation”. Minister Fu will also join the youth programme "Leading the Change: Unlocking Climate Leadership Pathways”, organised by the youth delegates from the Climate Youth Development Programme (CYDP).
Minister Fu will also hold bilateral meetings with counterparts to discuss efforts to advance global climate action and strengthen bilateral cooperation on environmental sustainability and climate resilience.
Minister Fu will be accompanied by officials from the National Climate Change Secretariat, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, and Ministry of Trade and Industry.
