Climate Adaptation Package
Singapore has designated 2026 as the Year of Climate Adaptation to raise awareness on the importance of climate adaptation and galvanise collective action.
A new $5 million Climate Adaptation Package under the SG Eco Fund will support projects that promote awareness and drive community action on heat resilience, flood protection, water conservation, and promoting local produce.
Examples of projects:
Heat Resilience: Establishing community volunteer networks and systems to help residents monitor and reduce heat stress.
Flood Protection: Engaging students and communities to co-create flood protection solutions.
Water Conservation: Developing water conservation awareness and action programmes for households.
Local Produce: Raising awareness of local farmers, and promoting consumption of local produce.
Funding Support
The Climate Adaptation Package provides funding of up to 90% of the supportable cost items, capped at a grant amount of $1 million.
Note: This is an increase from the usual cap of up to 80% of supportable costs.
Application Process
Who can Apply
The Climate Adaptation Package is open to the following applicants:
Individuals: Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, 18 years old and above, and residing in Singapore;
Team of Individuals: All individuals must be 18 years old and above, and residing in Singapore; the group must have at least one Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident;
Organisations: Singapore-registered organisations including companies, charities, non-government organisations; and government agencies.
When to Apply
Applications for the Climate Adaptation Package are open year-round from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2028, regardless of the funding amount requested.
Note: This differs from the SG Eco Fund’s Main category, which has a specific application window of 1 May to 31 August every year.
How to Apply
1) Complete the online application form and select ‘Climate Adaptation’ from the list of topics provided.
You will need to submit the following supporting documents:

For organisations seeking a grant amount of more than $30,000, please also submit the following supporting documents:
ACRA business profile report or ROS profile;
Audited financial report for the last three years# (for organisations, excluding public agencies);
CVs of key project team members (not required for public agencies).
2) If your project is shortlisted, you may be invited to give a 10-minute presentation using your submitted deck.
3) You will receive notification of your grant application outcome within 3 to 6 months.
*Please refer to the proposal deck template for information on what to include. Your proposal deck should not exceed 15 slides. Total size of files submitted (proposal deck and supporting documents) must not exceed 100MB, with each file not exceeding 10MB.
