CHANGING TIDES PRESENT DIFFERENT CHALLENGES
While our beaches are cleaned regularly, changing tidal conditions make the task more challenging. During the
north-east and south-west monsoons, more floating refuse and debris is washed ashore from the open sea. This
requires greater effort in removal.
BEACH GOERS MUST PLAY THEIR PART
While beach goers enjoy their time at the beach, they should take care not to leave rubbish behind when they
leave, which could contribute to the pollution of beach water.
